Living in Raynham, MA

Established in 1731, Raynham had initially been part of the ironworks area of the state. In the 1600s, it was part of the Taunton area but was later considered its own township. Since these days, Raynham has developed and continued to grow into a thriving business community, a friendly place to be, and a desirable place to settle down. It’s situated in a great location at the crossroads of Route 24, 44 and the I-495, it has convenient access to Boston. It has a prosperous economy in its own right, though. The Raynham Woods Commerce Park is 330 acres of industrial parks, and some significant corporations call the business park home for their head offices. The commerce park is considered one of the leading industrial parks in the Southeastern part of the state, which is impressive. There are many opportunities in business and entrepreneurship for those wanting to relocate to this suburban bedroom community.

The town takes pride in the wonderful schools and education they provide to the children who attend. The quality of Raynham schools is a large draw for families to choose the town to settle down. One of the elementary schools called LaLiberte School was renovated in 2002, and it serves kindergarten and grade one students. Merrill School serves grades two to four. In 2001, the Raynham Middle School was completed so that students can stay in the town until high school. When students move to high school, they can choose from three premier schools in neighboring areas: Bristol-Plymouth Regional Technical High School, Bridgewater-Raynham Regional High School, and Bristol County Agricultural High School.

When school and work are not in session, there are some fantastic outdoor activities to have fun and stay healthy. The town is home to a 300 acre Borden Conoly complex, which has sports fields, forests, and farmlands. Residents can play a game of soccer or baseball, go for a leisurely outdoor walk, or visit Johnson’s Pond and go fishing or boating. The town has strong conservation efforts to protect the natural beauty that Raynham offers.

Raynham has continued to grow, which is exciting for future residents and homeowners. There are many opportunities for those who hope to call this beautiful place home.
