The Gurnet, Plymouth, School Information

Schools that are administered by the Duxbury Public School District are the closest to the Gurnet community. The district offers education options for students from pre kindergarten through grade twelve in a number of educational institutes. The well rated district serves approximately 3,400 students throughout the academic year.

Chandler Elementary School is roughly 15 minutes from the tip of Gurnet Point and features classes for students from kindergarten through grade 2. There are roughly 625 students who attend the above average Chandler Elementary.

Adlen Elementary School is a public grade three through five school. Falling approximately 10 minutes from Gurnet Point, Alden Elementary welcomes approximately 675 students annually.

Duxbury Middle School and Duxbury High School share a location at 71 Alden Street. Both well ranked schools offer students a number of classes and courses as well as extracurricular activities such as sports, arts and music. There are just over 750 students enrolled at Duxbury Middle which is for grades 6 to 8. Duxbury High has a student body of roughly 1,000 for grades 9 through 12.
